Hank Duensing
Hank Duensing started racing 3 years after his dad did . He started out in Pure Stock class at Mid-America Speedway. Once the rising fuel price forced him the race at Creek County Speedway he had to move to then called Factory Stock known now as super stock. In an early race of his first season he had a bad wreck on the front stretch. It can still be found on YouTube. Do a search for Creek County Speedway wrecks. He then drove the #17. That car wasn't the same after that. Actually he retired that car at the end of the season. The next season Hank drove his dads car in Super Stock starting the new year. His dad built a new Pure Stock which Hank moved to about mid season . It didn't take long to settle into that car. Hank raked up 2 A-feature wins and should have had 3 but his bumper was knock loose on a early lap and he drug the bumper, only attached to one side when he took the white flag. He had a sizable lead on the second place car and there was no way he could lose until the bumper let go. Even having to restart with one to go from the rear he still finished second. Hank the next year became the CCS flagman and didn't race the full year. The next year he started as flagman again but decided a few weeks into the season he wanted to race again. He and dad put the Super Stock back together but it seemed to be unfruitful. The first 2 nights out the tranny broke and it spit the drive shaft out the back during hot laps. The 3rd night out he made it to the A-feature and made 6 laps before the rear end broke. He decided it was time for something different. He purchase a Syclone Modified that he is racing with B-Mods.
